Hi, I'm Amanda (she/her)
I'm here because I believe,
everyone can heal
good therapy should encourage growth
every person has value and are worthy of respect

I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can be your authentic self. I use a trauma responsive approach to practically and intentionally provide individualized support to my clients based on their own unique story and needs. I am also open to collaboration with related healthcare providers to support a holistic approach to healing.
I'm a licensed independent social worker (LISW-S) which means I am licensed to see clients in the state of Ohio.
My areas of expertise are primarily adults who are adjusting to life transitions, who have concerns about or symptoms of ADHD, or those with struggles relating to historical trauma. By limiting my areas of focus, this allows me to provide specialized treatment to support your unique and often interrelated needs.
I have over 10 years of experience in working with diverse populations in various community-based settings.
Education
I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Bluffton University and my Master of Social Work Degree from The Ohio State University.

My professional training includes: person centered, trauma responsive approach, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained.
